I create sculptures using many different materials, including stoneware, porcelain and paper clay. Often they are combined with other materials such as metal and wood, sometimes including natural plant elements which are fossilized by impressing them into the clay, permanently capturing their momentary nature.

The sculptural pieces vary from tiny, jewel-like works to large, abstract totems combining several ceramic forms. The smaller works are frequently created when I am travelling.  I collect pieces of driftwood, stone or pebbles from the same locations to mount these works on. These works are are made very spontaneously, and are sold through galleries and exhibitions.
