For inspiration for many of my smaller works I am responding to the seasonal changes of the world and, specifically, the landscape around me, the time, the light, and the mood of the moment.

I make use of elements of methods used in all my other work, combining different clays with impressions of plants and fabrics to create a three dimensional impression of landscapes and abstract forms.

These are generally mounted on wood, hand made paper, or silk paper - wherever possible sourced and created in the same environment as the inspiration for the piece.
